In 2018, the Mondadori Group met the targets set:
• achieved further operating and financial consolidation;
• launched a new strategic repositioning phase, with the revision of the portfolio of the Magazines Italy Area and the start of the disposal of Magazines France.

The sale of the French operations falls in the Group’s strategy to refocus on our more solid Books business; by increasing the availability of financial resources, we will also contribute to supporting the strategic lines of development and the competitive edge in our core businesses, also through potential new investments.
