Non-executive, independent director
Cristina Rossello was born on 24 December 1961 in Finale Ligure (SV), graduating with a law degree from the University of Genoa, with honours, recommendation for publication and special mention in the annals of the faculty.
Cristina Rossello is a lawyer, also at the Supreme Court level, and specialised in commercial, banking and securities law, with offices in Milan, Rome and Brussels.
She is legal advisor for listed companies and major family-owned enterprises, conducts litigation and is a member of arbitration boards. She also has experience in the area of television rights. She has an additional focus on sports law, with institutional and administration functions for CONI, and is instructor of a course for specialists in Sports Law and Sports Justice at the University of Milan.
She is the author of books and publications in reviews and journals on civil and commercial law and in financial newspapers. She is a member of scientific committees and publications in the legal and corporate fields, and a consultant for Commissions set up by the Senate and Lower House.
Member of the Board of Directors of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A. since April 2012.
In November 2016 the Board of Directors, in accordance with the Corporate Governance Code, designated Independent Director Cristina Rossello as Lead Independent Director.
Her current positions include: Chairperson of Centro Studi Fratelli Branca S.r.l.; member of the Board of Directors of SPAFID S.p.A., SPAFID Family Office SIM S.p.A., Branca Real Estate S.r.l., Fratelli Branca Distillerie S.r.l. and Branca International S.p.A.
