Roberto Poli
Born on 28 June 1938 in Pistoia, Roberto Poli is the chairman of di Poli e Associati S.p.A., a company operating in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, a corporate restructuring, he is Chairman of the board of director of Eni.
Professor of corporate finance at the Catholic University in Milan from 1966 to 1998, Roberto Poli is a consultant of leading Italian public and private companies, international groups and some of Italy's most important business families.
Director and statutory auditor for a number of companies, in the past he was chairman of the board of statutory auditors of the Banca Commerciale Italiana and the Fondazione Cariplo and has been a director of important companies, including, Mira Lanza, Bastogi, Merloni Elettrodomestici, Enichem, Aermacchi, Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera.
Since September 1996 he has been a general consultant for the reorganisation of the Fininvest Group.
