Since 2001, all of the Mondadori Group's activities in which there is a direct relationship with the customer have been managed by a single business unit, the Direct Division with the aim of co-ordinating the specific competencies and emphasising the value of the customer through a complete multi-channel approach. Headed by General Manager Renato Rodenghi, the Direct Division includes the following companies: Mondolibri, Mondadori Retail, Mondadori Franchising and Cemit Interactive Media.
 
The combined activites drawn together in the Direct Division, including 100% of Mondolibri and Bol, and Subscriptions, generated total revenues in 2007 of € 290 million.
