Pasquale Cannatelli
Born on 8th September 1947 at Sorianello (Vibo Valentia), Pasquale Cannatelli graduated in economics and business administration from the Catholic University in Milan in 1971.
Since May 2003 he has been chief executive of Fininvest S.p.A. Within the Fininvest Group he is also a member of the boards of Mediaset S.p.A., Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A., Mediolanum S.p.A., Publitalia S.p.A., Medusa Film S.p.A., A.C. Milan S.p.A., Pagine Utili S.r.l. and Pagine Italia S.p.A.
Since May 2006, has has also been a non-executive director of Capitalia S.p.A.
From 1972 to 1981 worked for Rank Xerox, rising to become chief accountant, reporting to the parent company, and controller of the technical and logistics area.
Between 1981 and 1985 he worked for Boston S.p.A. (W.R. Grace Group) as head of finance and control.
From 1985 to 1988 he worked for Farmitalia Carlo Erba S.r.l. (Erbamont Group) as group controller.
Between 1988 and 1991 he was with Alitalia S.p.A, initially as finance director and subsequently as group controller.
From June 1991 to June 1997 he was back at Farmitalia Carlo Erba S.r.l. as chief financial officer of the Erbamont Group.
He joined the Fininvest Group in July 1997 as central director of planning and control and member of the board of directors of Mediaset S.p.A.
