Born in Milan on 22 April 1938, Marco Spadacini graduated in economics from Milan's Bocconi University in 1963.

A member of the boards of the Fondazione Cariplo, from November 1999 to April 2011, the Compagnia Fiduciaria Nazionale S.p.A. and the Metroweb S.p.A.; a member of the advisory board of Intesa San Paolo S.p.A., Marco Spadacini is chairman of the board of stautory auditors of Atlantia S.p.A., Apple Computer Italia Group, as well as a member of the boards of statutory auditors of Fondiaria-Sai S.p.A., Axa Assicurazioni Group S.p.A., Expo 2015 and Transalpina di Energia S.r.l.

Registered as a licensed accountant in Milan since 10 June 1969 and on the register of auditors, he has been an official liquidator, special commissioner and bankruptcy adminstrator for a number of procedures under the jurisdiction of the Milan courts.

As a partner in the Studio Spadacini Associazione Professionale he operates as a fiscal, administrative and corporate advisor and is mainly engaged in M & A activities and corporate restructuring for companies and/or groups, with special reference to debt levels and rationalisations.
